Icloud and OS X Mavericks

ICLOUD

iCloud is a cloud storage system or cloud computing Apple Inc.. It was released in 2011 and the service has over 150 million users.
This apple  service allows users to store data such as music files on remote servers for download to multiple devices such as iPhones, iPods , iPads and personal computers running Mac OS X (Lion or later) or Microsoft Windows. also replacesIt also acts as  a data center synchronization of email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, notes, task lists and other data.

Each account has 5 GB of free storage, and the contents is  stored for free without interfering with those 5 GB. All applications, movies and music files purchased through iTunes are automatically downloaded to any registered device, for example, iPhones and computers. When a user registers a new device, all your iTunes content can be automatically downloaded.



OS X MAVERICKS

OS X Mavericks is the tenth major release of OS X, Apple Inc.'s desktop and server operating system forMac computers. It was released on October 22, 2013, as a free update through the Mac App Store.

The update places emphasis on battery life, Finder enhancements, other enhancements for power users, and continuediCloud integration, as well as bringing more of Apple's iOS apps to the OS X platform. This release marks the beginning of a change in the naming scheme of OS X,.Following the new naming scheme, the current version of the operating system is named Mavericks, after the surfing location in California.

It includes: 

- tabs and search for files 'tags' , words that are assigned to a file so that later can be found easily.

- Now the remote connection between a Mac and a virtual desktop incorporates the use applications between the two and can drag multiple windows between them and even extending them to full screen, besides being able to show them through Apple TV on an HD TV through AirPlay .


- Safari wants to facilitate access to social networks including a sidebar which lists the links shared by our friends in social networks , like Twitter , and websites that have saved as Favorites .

- Calendar syncs with our Facebook profile and just display scheduled events and also includes some improvements in the way of presenting the events and all data on it.


- Maps incorporates the 3D view of buildings and cities Flyover and, among other new features , shipping routes or routes with directions to an iOS device .


- The notification center gives the opportunity to respond to messages or start a FaceTime conversation without leaving the application we use at the time, and if we are away for a few hours , we collected all notifications received so we can watch them later from the lock Screen
